SETTLEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research Centre establishment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In accordance with art.89 of D.P.R. 382\/80, the\nResearch Centre \u201cRossana Bossaglia\u201d for decorative arts, graphics and arts\nduring Modern and Contemporary Age was created at University of Verona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Culture and Civilization\npromotes the Research Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Administrative Location of the Research Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Research Centre is located at Department of\nCulture and Civilization that practices the management and administrative\nfunctions needed by the Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research Centre Aims<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main aims of the Centre are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promoting the decorative arts and Italian arts\nstudy, referring to Taste cases such as Liberty, D\u00e9co and Novecento strictly\nconnected with museums and collections, University Research Centres and\nthematic centres both in Italy and Europe;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collecting, cataloguing, conserving and\ndivulging documentary and bibliographic materials related to the development of\nDecorative Arts and Arts between Eighteenth and Twenty-first Centuries;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating an organized archive made by images,\nsheets, documents, bibliography, digitalization of graphic materials and examples\nof Decorative Arts between Eighteenth and Twenty-first Centuries; this material\ncan be implemented by research and work made by students from Graduation\ncourses, PhD researchers, Postdoc researchers and colleagues;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating an organized archive of images,\nsheets, documents, bibliography about great profane decoration during\nEighteenth Century (painting, quadratura,\nstucco, <\/em>sculpture, etc.) in Northern Italy, usable through various research\nkeys and open to synergies with other Universities and Research Centers;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizing seminars and study days, didactic\nseminars, promoting scientific publications, predicting consequences in the\ndidactic area both in the Cultural Heritage Undergraduation course, Arts\nGraduation Course and International PhD, promoting tutoring activities,\npromoting scholarships dedicated to the study and implementation of the digital\narchives of the Centre;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizing, curating and giving consultation\nfor exhibitions dedicated to Decorative Arts and Art during Eighteenth and\nTwenty-first Centuries;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promoting specialized studies, dissertations\nand PhD dissertations on Decorative Arts, Art graphics, Art History and\nArchitecture between Eighteenth and Twenty-first Centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities of the\nResearch Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Research Centre Authorities are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Scientific Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Executive Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Director<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scientific Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nScientific Committee is composed by specialists, University professors, museums\ndirectors, Research Centres directors invited by the Director and, if possible,\nconnected by conventions between individual Authorities and the Department of\nCulture and Civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nScientific Committee will usually reunite (if possible even in a telematic way)\nonce a year and in a extraordinary session when the Director believes it will\nbe necessary or when requested by one third of the members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nconvocation communication of the Scientific Committee with the order of the day\nis declared by the Director at least five days before the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ndecisions are taken by absolute majority of the present, in case of equality the\nDirector vote will be decisive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nScientific Committee collects and values proposals for the Research Centre\nactivities, cooperating in information exchange, organizing events (conveigns,\nseminars, conferences, exhibitions, publications etc.) and in any other\nactivity that will be necessary for the development of the Research Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the\nindications and activities proposed by the Scientific Committee will be\ndiscussed and eventually approved by the Executive Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Executive Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nExecutive Committee is the orientation, programming and coordination authority\nfor the Research Centre activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is\ncomposed by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nDirector presiding over<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nSecretary<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At least\nthree and not more of six members of the Scientific Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Executive\nCommittee is in office for three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside the\nExecutive Committee is not allowed the overlapping of roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nExecutive Committee will usually reunite twice a year (if possible even in a\ntelematic way) year and in an extraordinary session when the Director believes\nit will be necessary or when requested by one third of the members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nconvocation communication of the Scientific Committee with the order of the day\nis declared by the Director at least five days before the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nExecutive Committee deliberates on general about the activities of the Research\nCentre proposed by the Scientific Committee and deliberates about any issue\nexposed to the Research Centre itself; approves the annual programme and, if\nnecessary, the estimate and final balance financial reports, and also the\nannual report on treated activities arranged by the Director. The Committee\ngives its point of view on any interesting issue exposed during the order of\nthe day and, particularly, subscription or cooperation requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 7 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Director<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nDirector has the responsibility of the Research Centre functioning; he\nrepresents the Research Centre on the outside; arranges programmes and\neventually the guide lines for financial reports and the annual report for the\nactivities that will be submitted to the Scientific Committee and Executive\nCommittee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nDirector accounts for the Centre once a year to the Scientific Committee and to\nthe Executive Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nDirector leads the Research Centre for five year. The mandate is renewable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Procedure of\nsubscription to the Research Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The request of subscription to the Research\nCentre can be presented by single professors or University researchers,\nexperts, Museum members, Soprintendenza etc. motivating the request in relation\nto the scientific specifications and activities of the Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The motivated request should be accepted by the\nScientific Committee. The eventual deny will be communicated by written form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Centre Resources<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To develop its own activities the Centre can\nuse:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The work of the members;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cooperation of technician and\nadministrative workers of the Department of Culture and Civilization; also, PhD\nresearchers and students of the Department can cooperate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funds of the Centre are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventual funds from professors and University\nresearchers, experts, Museum members, Soprintendenza etc. related to the\nCentre, due to the indication of the Executive Committee;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funds specifically indicated by law or by\ndisposition from the Administration Council of the University or by Department\nCouncil to the Centre activity;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Convention and contracts with Public\nAuthorities and private subjects, donations, inheritance and other liberations\nauthorized;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funds from the Centre activity;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other contributes from Authority and\/or\nPrivates due to empower the research activities of the Centre and the\norganization of conferences and seminars and promoting the creation of\nscholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The assigned funds are controlled by the\nDepartment of Culture and Civilization and are restricted by the destination\nfor the Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movable properties, acquired with Centre\nfunds, are inventoried by Department of Culture and Civilization and are\nrestricted by a bond of destination in favour of the Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funds and the bonded properties cannot by\nresigned and their destination cannot be changed without the Executive\nCommittee deliberation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case of dissolution of the Centre, the\nExecutive Committee decides in order of the assignment of the funds and\nproperties in favour of itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a Department, a professor, a researcher or a\nresearch group should withdraw, funds and properties with destination bond in favour\nof the Centre will remain pertinence of the Centre itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 10<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Settlment Modification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The modification to the present Settlement\nshould be unanimously formulated by the Executive Committee or proposed at\nleast by one fifth of the members of the Scientific Committee; they will be\nvoted by the Executive Committee, whom members should receive notification at\nleast three months before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will be approved requests at least by two third\nof the Executive Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modification will be operative with\ndeliberation of the Department of Culture and Civilization Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art. 11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duration, Renewal and\nDissolution from the Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Centre duration is ten years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Centre renewal can happen only with\nexplicit request of one third of the subscribing members of the Centre and\nshould be presented at least three months before its end. The renewal proposal\nshould be approved at least by two third of the members of the Scientific\nCommittee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On deliberation of the Executive Committee and\nwith the mode needed by Settlement modification, the Centre can be dissoluted\ndue to the indication of the Scientific Committee of the Centre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
