Website Access and Data Use Policy

Users may make use of the content available on the website and in its digital archives in accordance with the following rules:

Copyright on textual content

  • Users are free to use the information contained in the database, provided that the source is properly acknowledged and any modifications made to the information are indicated.
  • The names of the authors are always given at the end of the texts, while the persons responsible for entering information into the databases can be identified by the site administrators. When citing texts taken from the Rossana Bossaglia Research Centre website and its digital archives, the names of the relevant authors must also be cited.
  • Among the authors are students, undergraduate and doctoral researchers, who may provide information relating to texts that form the subject of theses still in progress. Users are kindly asked to treat such information with the necessary academic respect.
  • The Research Centre and the Department of Cultures and Civilisations of the University of Verona disclaim all responsibility for data entered and/or modified by the authors.

Copyright on photographic content

  • The images available on the website and in the databases are the result of photographic campaigns carried out by collaborators of the Research Centre, in agreement with the owners of the reproduced works.
  • In the case of historical or archival photographs owned by third parties, the Research Centre has generally obtained authorization for their dissemination, usually through specific agreements.
  • The reproduced works are not owned by the Research Centre. Should a user be interested in the commercial use of the photographs, with the exception of uses for teaching or study purposes, they are requested to contact the Centre’s secretariat, which will assess the possibility of making the images available after obtaining the consent of the photographer and of the owners of the reproduced work.
